Accident – Death – Obituary News : On the heels of a tragic incident in Pune, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has called for a thorough investigation into a fatal Porsche crash involving a drunken teenager that resulted in the deaths of two individuals. The move comes amidst mounting pressure from the Opposition and demands for a judicial inquiry into the matter.

Congress Leader of Opposition (Assembly) Vijay Wadettiwar has called for a judicial probe, while Shiv Sena (UBT)’s Sanjay Raut has accused the police of acting under pressure and producing a fake medical report. Raut has gone as far as demanding the dismissal of Commissioner of Police (CP) Amitesh Kumar.

They swiftly apprehended Vishal Agarwal, a prominent realtor and the father of the 17-year-old boy responsible for the tragic accident. Agarwal was located in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) and taken into custody early on Tuesday.
CP Amitesh Kumar has vehemently denied the allegations of police bias and maintained that the force has acted within the confines of the law. He challenged critics to substantiate their claims and emphasized that stringent charges have been levied against the minor offender.
Furthermore, the police have arrested the owner of Cosie Bar and Restaurant, Prahlad Bhutada, along with manager Sachin Katkar and bartender Sandeep Sangle for allegedly serving alcohol to a minor and his companions. Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Shailesh Balkawade confirmed the arrests and highlighted the gravity of the situation.
The tragic incident, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, claimed the lives of two IT professionals from Madhya Pradesh. The victims, identified as Ashwini Koshta and Aneesh Awadhiya, were returning from a social gathering when they were struck by the speeding Porsche driven by the teenager.
